“An Air Quality Update”
Roland Hea, Permitting Section Supervisor for CDPHE’s Air Pollution Control Division

Roland Hea will provide an update on the activities of the Air Pollution Control Division. Roland is the Permitting Section Supervisor for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Air Pollution Control Division. He joined the Division in 2002, and is responsible for overseeing the processing and issuance of air quality construction and operating permits. His recent efforts have focused on permitting issues associated with oil and gas industry operations and power generation/industrial facilities.

Prior to his service with the Division, Roland spent seventeen years working as an engineer and project manager in industry, environmental consulting, and local government. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Directions: From Denver, take US-6 West. Take the Simms Exit toward Union Boulevard. Turn at Simms and head South on Union Street. Turn left at 1st avenue (traffic light). Park anywhere and take elevator to the 6th floor. Turn right after exiting the elevator and keep walking – you will dead end into the Golder conference room.
